Security Week: New TikTag Attack Targets Arm CPU Security Feature
SCP Professor Taesoo Kim and a team of international researchers have revealed a new speculative execution attack that allows attackers to bypass computer processor protections by targeting a hardware security feature in Arm CPUs.
According to Arm's website, their CPU's are the most pervasive processor architecture in the world, with more than 280 billion Arm-based chips shipped by their partners over the past three decades in products ranging from sensors, wearables and smartphones to supercomputers.
